Are these new shares or a large block? Surely the latter - in which case it makes little difference. Edit - it was, as I thought, a large block dd

You're absolutely right. The placement of 89,000,000 additional shares for sale on the market, out of a total of 300,000,000 outstanding, is not a bullish event.

On the positive side, assuming we will see three up waves for Gold, and that we haven't already seen them, I make the upside target to be at or about $350 per oz. which is the present level of the downward sloping trendline from the highs of 1979.

Such a higher price level for Gold should result in higher intrinsic values for Kinross shares.
