- Margins lower than forecasted. Revenues per expectations.

I have not seen the nos. but CNBC says that intc has reported Q3 margins lower than Q2 (they just repeated that highlight) but they expect margins to go back up in Q4. I guess it's possible that CNBC is mistaken. CNBC also just said they feel that margins are down due to lower ASPs.

Frankly it makes sense that if margins are down, they are down due to lower ASPs.
