Let me start with this verse.

Matthew 5:22 But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment: and whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca , shall be in danger of the council: but whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire.

Who is the FOOL in scripture ???

Psalms 53:1 <<To the chief Musician upon Mahalath, Maschil, A Psalm of David.>> The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. Corrupt are they, and have done abominable iniquity: there is none that doeth good.

So if a man says to you " There is no God " Is he a fool ?? The Bible teaches us that YES HE IS A FOOL ! He may be Elect which means God will eventually give him a new heart and sprit of repentance but if he died right there in front of you before that happened he would go to Hell ! He was a FOOL !! Am I in danger of hell fire for saying so. Lets hope not otherwise the Psalmist also went to hell...little joke there... very little... :-}

So then what am I missing to fit these two verses togeather ?? The first verse says "Brother" Look at some more of what is said

Matthew 5:22 But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment:

Does this verse teach that being angry at my brother is sin. Well what about this verse:

Ephesians 4:26 Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath:

It says "be angry" but warns us not to sin. Anger is not a sin.

Psalms 7:11 God judgeth the righteous, and God is angry with the wicked every day.

No then Anger is not wrong Being Angry without cause is like MURDER !
Anger with a cause is like EXECUTION.. We are to be very angry at sin and the SINNER! We can also be very Angry with our Brother If he has sinned against us but we are to follow Matthew 18 and seek his repentance and give him our forgiveness or turn him into the "judgement" (The church leaders.)

So being Angry with one that deserves it is not wrong ( if your seeking his repentance and good ) Judging a fool as a fool is not wrong If he is indeed a fool ! Is not wrong.

We must approach Judgement in the same way !!! God Judges is that wrong ?? NO Are all the men in this land who sit behind the bench convicting criminals in sin... NO !!! What about Paul when he says "Put away that wicked person from among you " How can we put away any wicked people if we are not allowed to judge that !

Just as discouraging a believer by telling them they are going to Hell because they are a fool is wrong. Yet warning an unbeliever that they are being a fool and need to repent or else they will go to hell is RIGHT. This take RIGHTEOUS JUDGEMENT !!! You are on the right vein in asking the difference between Judgement and Condemnation !!

To tell someone that they are not saved and need to get saved is right. To tell someone they are not elect and that They cannot be saved is not ours to know. Only God know that. we are to encourage as much as possible for people to bow the knee. We are to WARN REBUKE etc. with all long suffering. ( not giving up )

You see in the verse you asked about.. And you were probably wondering when I would get to that !

37 ¶ Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven:

This Judgement is Unrighteous and Evil Judgement. It is tied to condemning and unforgiveness. It can not be taken all alone without the rest of the BIBLE.. Trust me I have heard Oprah on TV use this verse to try and stop people from speaking out against Homosexuals !

The Devil loves to misuse this verse because it leaves Christian as sitting duckd\s for his wicked servants... LOOK

Matthew 7:15 Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.

How will we know when we are in the midst of dogs, swine, or wolves except we use Righteous Judgement....

How can we put away that wicked person from among us except we use Righteous Judgement...

Here is the funniest part.. A lot of people who THINK they are not judgeing people are just lying to themselves.. As you read want I write you think to yourself... Is this guy from god or maybe this guy is a wolf or Hey this guy is great.. whatever THOSE ARE JUDGEMENTS of me and they are Spiritual Judgements.....

God is calling his people to JUDGE RIGHTLY as HE DOES by the standard of His Word and Truth.... We are not just to accept someone because they "say" they are sheep... The false Profits come in sheeps clothing but they are goats and wolves... Their truth is only skin deep. They teach you lies so that the devil can devour you.

1 Corinthians 2:16 For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.
