So are you saying both a cut and add liquidity? And at what point will the FED step in? After a 30,40,50,60%... hair cut?

PC, i agree that the Fed will try to come to the market's rescue and that a very big one-day gain may result SHOULD the market take a serious tumble. however, i believe that the bursting of the current bubble may ultimately be more akin to the early '90's experience in Japan...after the big bounce following on the heels of the crash a severe bear market followed. i know it seems an unlikely outcome for many people, but at some point the price for the bubble's excesses has to be paid. sorry if i sound overly bearish....
