When asked about the unusual problems lately with multiple chips, the response re: RDRAM was that debugging the technology across the multiple vendors was more difficult than usual. They're pushing the roadmap harder than they normally do right now.

This is great news. People were expecting the worst from the latest Camino delay, but not having to turn silicon again allows for a timely Q4 re-release.

Maybe Samsung and others will be motivated to restart RDRAM production?

Not exactly GREAT news, nothing is firm.. I would say it is more Spin than Facts.

Still seems to be DOUBTS lingering...

FWIW, Still flat and see no reason to rush in. 70-20-10 prevails

and "70" isn't looking too good. 19 Oct IBM and MSFT report then beware
