I think his extraordinary success is bizarre, too; so we are closer than I thought. Three of his four children felt he was a very strange man indeed. I have already given many examples of behavior i feel was very strange, even bizarre. People react differently to things though. Some here made excuses for Reagan nicknaming his adoptive son, Michael, 'Schmuck,' for example. Maybe "made excuses" is unfair. Maybe they genuinely thought that it was unexceptionable.
