I'm working up an email to send to Tom Petruno, his sunday article was about bears stuck in history and this time is different, my retort will be bulls ignoring history.

A repeat of Marke Twain's Law of Periodical Repetition:

"in which everything which has happened once must happen again and again and as he put it -- not capriciously -- but at regular periods. And with each thing obeying its own period and establishing its own law. He pointed to Nature, the Mother Nature which delights in periodical repetition in the skies and the oceans, . . the Nature which orders the affairs of the earth." Twains counsel to readers was to never under-rate the value of such a hint, stating "for where times may change, nature often repeats.
