This really is terrific news. On top of all that's happening in AB right now, this golden (or should I say, 'diamond') opportunity quietly presented itself in Quebec and it seems Marum was able to stealthily zoom in and grab up the ltd prospective land available next to TWG's. See Marum's NRs listed here:marumresources.com From today's news,On September 28, 1999, Marum submitted an application for an exploration permit adjacent to Twin Gold Corporation's ("TWG" -TSE) new diamond discovery on Alluviat Fjord in the Ungava region of Quebec. Marum has performed a satellite-image analysis of the Twin Gold discovery area and has applied for an adjacent area that contains features similar to those associated with the Twin Gold kimberlites. Pursuant to the Exchange's request, Marum contacted the Quebec Ministry of Natural Resources and has been informally advised by telephone that it had been awarded a 57 square kilometre, 5-year exploration permit adjacent to permits held by Twin Gold. ----------- - It's my understanding that the MMU people have an exceptional knowledge of the geology in this region of Quebec. I've no doubt the announced staked claims were selected with empirical prowess. Twin Gold's reportings are phenom., at this stage... more news/ results are due from them in the near future. While AB is going sensationally, it would appear that this opportunity was just too sweet to let pass (Marum quickly landed 57 sq. km for 5yrs, to boot!). -I see Marum has posted TWG's results NR to their website, here:marumresources.com ________ This company continues to impress! -I sure am liking Marum's new, up to the minute website. (i.e., www.marumresources.com ) -------- And of course, also in today's MMU news:Marum anticipates receiving the results of confirmation gold analyses within the next few days and intends to send a helicopter-supported sampling team into the Chinchaga area this week in order to collect large samples for bulk gold extraction tests. -- -- As you say, George (et al.),,... better 'n better.
