The truth of the matter is that I like Favors-- he has integrity. Can you imagine how difficult it must be to be a successful Black technician in this game? You have to be thrice as good as the white guys. I am a republican, and I am against affirmative action in just about everything, but Favors gets my respect if only for the incredible prejudice he has overcome. To have survived as long as he has, he has to have been successful. And he is right fairly often! It looks like that 8 October post of his was a variation on his earlier theme. That's allowed!
