64M DRAM chip prices rebound on spot market

The spot prices of 64M DRAM chips rebounded from a fall last week, with the
price of an 8M x 8 PC-100 now quoted between $16.46 to $17.81 per chip, a
jump of $0.50 from last week, industry sources said yesterday.

The spot prices of the chip fell as much as $4 per chip last week, after peaking
at $21.46 following the earthquake which hit Taiwan in the middle of last month.

Prices of other 64M DRAM products and 16M DRAM chips remained
unchanged, although that of 128M DRAM chips dropped slightly.

Chas, I've been looking at buying a subscription to AICE. Do you find it worth the $750 per year?
