1. Aren't you worried that ORCL will have 3 strong seasons
from here?
2. The biggest gold consumers, Indian market, are turning
away from gold to semi/precious gems for weddings lately.
I don't think there'll be much more upticks since shorts
covered their positions, jmo.

Bill/All:

Heres my take on Intc. #1 Earnings=drivel to analysts of big tech stocks.

Earnings are unimportant to big cap tech stocks. Intc will not fall. they could have missed earnings by 20c and it would not make a difference so long as they said it was rosy around the corner. ie Analysts will say the bad news (read earnings miss) was already priced in and now since the future is golden it is a buying opportunity. Dont worry about
1. excess supply (read lower margins)in microprocessors
2. shortages in support chips/components (dram etc)
3. price pressures on virtualy all major computer distributors/retailers (read why do they offer computers for slightly more than price of internet access now)
4. amd has the lead at the top end with its athlon processor
5. rambus somewhat less than spectacular launch.
If this had been any company other than a technology supercap, I think the stock price would have taken a serious(read 50% haircut).

What you all think ?
