For the record, I have no objection to the performance of religious music. Especially when the words are in Latin.

I like Michael, and I wouldn't care to bring things to the point of vivisection, but hey, if the lady is offended, what choice has a chivalrous guy got? Ritual is ritual.

I agree. I love much religious music, and think it would be philistine to exclude it from music classes and performances in school. It was written by human beings. Who are we to question their inspiration? We should be grateful for their genius.
