OT CYBR

Thomas,

After your post on the CRY board I read your profile, and noticed your interest in web development, health care and killer apps. I have recently taken a position in CYBR, a diversified brick and mortar health care stock (air ambulance, rehab centers, etc). They have obtained technology and patents for a home vital signs + monitoring unit that allows patients that would otherwise require hospitalization to be monitored at home with major savings to the HMO customer. They have just received their first small order for 250 units. The system is internet based and with other competing units was recently evaluated to rave revues by the Mayo clinic. Mayo gave it top billing. There are other companies in the field, but they appear to be behind technologically and CYBR's patents may slow the competition. They take a 40% margin on the hardware and provide data transmission through the net for a monthly fee.

At any rate, Kaiser among others is looking at the technology, the savings per patient per year is between 20 and 30k, and the attractiveness to patients, given the possibility of care at home verses the hospital, is self evident. Apparently the target patient group is a significant part of the patient base that uses the lion's share of the health dollar. Future growth looks explosive.

I still have questions about competition and management's ability to execute, but at this point I am more than interested.

It seems to me to be like Starnet, some risk, but possible major returns.

If this stock interests you, I would greatly appreciate your opinion of it. Your background will provide valuable insights.

Thanks,

dbernet
