James, I agree with you entirely about e-machines. I am a computer consultant on the west coast and for the past year, I have been recommending e-machines (sold abundantly at the local Circuit City stores) to all my friends and clients and they have not complained yet. Some had budgets bigger than what was needed to buy an e-machine. You can get a very decent hunk of a machine for $499 excluding the monitor and that leaves a chunk of cash for a nice sized monitor (19" or better). Heck it is driven by the same Intel Inside chip as more expensive cousins. I will be glad if e-maichines can also pick up some cash from USAB along the way, which of course is payable only if the customer opens a USAB bank account. AND THE CIRCUIT CITY SALEMAN WILL SURELY POINT OUT THE USAB HOT BUTTON TO TELL THE CUSTOMER THAT THE COST OF THE MACHINE CAN BE RECOVERED BY OPENING AN INTEREST BEARING ACCOUNT (THE 5% INTEREST OF COURSE).
A WIN-WIN DEAL FOR ALL!!!!
