Yes, at the close today Intel is ONLY up 10%+ since the close of the day before they missed in the second quarter, and now missed the third quarter. If the analysts estimates were such significant benchmarks, you would think that Intel would be down big time after missing twice.

The truth is that the estimates and most of the recommendation changes are tools to generate trading commissions. If you take the time to read this thread and to listen to the conference calls, you can make a pretty educated decision on the overall performance trend.
