RE: "Thank you very much for the notes, Amy. The tone of the CC that you present seems more positive than the tone that some of the fly-by-night INTC detractors gave."

Hi Tenchusatsu,

Thanks. I think Intel is going to be in great shape.

About the CC, one thing I found disturbing (first time I listened to one of these) is:
not a single VP from Intel's Network group spoke - it was as if Networks and ServersFarms do not even exist at Intel.

Only Andy Bryant and Paul O spoke. Where was Mark Christenson - an industry figure in the Network business? It felt like Intel was only a microprocessor company. But then, the analysts didn't dive in and ask questions about the network area either, aside from asking about the impact of "these acquisitions." Too bad there wasn't one network analyst in attendance (I'm assuming, possibly incorrectly, by the questions asked, none were?) For example, no one asked why the Fast Ethernet Router had flat growth - I was hoping someone would ask this question. Another example: the analysts had questions around the GMs of Intel's acquisitions - this implied to me some of the analysts don't know the margins of any of these network/comm acquisitions. It would have been nice to have heard some questions by a network analyst.

Best,
Amy J
