Tenchusatsu,

<This is true. Gee, that's all Intel needs, to wind up the 1999 year with strike three for Camino/Coppermine.>

To be sure, I am not wishing anything bad on Intel. I am just pointing to how tough the industry can be.

I used to work for a small company with a handful of products and almost every quarter we would go through a drill to cover shortfall in one product area or the other. Once we had a product delayed by 3 or 4 quarters. The CEO/CFO did a superb job of lowering the analyst expectations without tanking the stock price but the lowered bar was not low enough to make peoples life's easy. Sometimes the odds look so overwhelmingly against you but the stakes are so high you keep going. Made good money but lost a lot of hair. I am sure P&L people at Intel are in the same boat now - I can feel their pain.

Good luck.

Chuck
