Not that I'm Ur paid cheerleader by any means, Doug, but I must speak up. BM HAS ALWAYS POSTED HIS PAY PER VIEW propaganda on this thread in days of yore before he got pi** off by my reminding him that there were several unanswered questions about him and his organization. Then he split. I'm quite certain if he or any in his peanut-brained organization was upset by your posting, they would have written you personally, asking you to desist. Furthermore, Robert is right...it does make paying customers mad. BUT...and this is a big but...as I recall when I was a COMP'D subscriber, BILL and John, and Chris ALWAYS ASKED that their stuff be posted wherever, since their purpose was both solicitation of donations and ego trips. The reason is just as Giraffe explained! So, why not write and ask THEM what THEY would like for you to do. I'd be willing to bet they would not only grant you permission, but also grant you permission to publish their Permission Granting REPLY to you as well, for the purpose of dissemination on this thread. I'm quite certain in their mind that any re-posting after subscribers get 'first dibbies' is entirely allright with them. You see, you are doing them a service by posting! And Giraffe nailed it! The LAST THING I'd spend one scintilla of a nano-second being concerned with is whether or not you'll get sued by GATA. Hell, they haven't got two nickels to rub together since they started spouting off and I don't see any change approximately one year later. So what are they going to sue and claim for damages? This past week I told you that some of the major gold producers had agreed to an unwritten, but formal agreement, to cut their gold production, a la OPEC. My information came to me from the best of sources in the gold producer community. "It's illegal to form cartels in America, the government prohibits any such organization. However, outside America it's perfectly legal, just take a look at OPEC. Since the Brit gold sale, South Africa got real angry and, led by Anglogold, its been pushing full steam into creating an international gold cartel made up of non-USA gold producers. The rumor buzzing out of London tonight is that an agreement has been reached and will be announced in big press conference soon. ...there are rifts in the World Gold Council. This explains why the rift. The overly hedged shorts do not care for this. Their shares will not perform well if the gold price explodes. This also explains why Gold Field Ltd announced that it has now covered most of its hedges. Chris Thompson of Gold Fields and Bobby Godsell of Anglogold, have been the powerhouses in the gold industry. They are standing up to the "Hannibal Cannibals" and quietly changing the gold world in behalf of their own companies and the gold industry. At 7:50 AM Central Standard Time on Sunday Morning, GATA and the "Right Flank" will make an announcement to the Cafe and to every gold company shareholder in the world.
