Kahuna - i think we see failed attempt at rally tomorrow, followed by further deterioration on Friday and Kahuna on Monday (if not on Friday)

Gary & GZ,

Here's what bothers me about the "crash" scenario... even though I have been forecasting such an event for the last 3 months...

- right now it is only FEAR of a Fed tightening disturbing the markets...
- sentiment is not crazily bullish... in fact, from what I am seeing, there is a LOT of bearishness out there (check the SI survey if you don't believe me)...
- only the OI call-put ratio I keep is nutzo... hasn't hurt anything in the past month or so...
- odd-lot short sales are decidely bearish... it will be a cold day in _ _ _ _ when THEY are right...
- the LNHNL has not been bad for the last month or so... onesy-twosy figures high but not characteristically bad...

The reason I say this is that even though we may have a perfect setup for a crash right now, these things rarely happen when you MOST expect them.

So for the time being, I will be happy with the calls I bought with the market down over 130 points... thought that support would hold but it went to the next one. If THAT gives way, look out!

Bill
