Benkea, Although the futures are down strong, I have to wonder how option expiration week may limit the downside. Heck, the market could sell off very hard right now, but I would not be surprised if the the selling over the next few days may not be as strong as many think. If that is the case, of course we will hear bullish comments saying that the follow-thru to the downside is weak. However, we need to remember that we have some important economic reports. If the selling is weak, I think the key to watch is the market internals especially the NEW HIGHs/LOWs. If the selling is weak, but there is no or very small improvement in the NEW LOWs, that would imply that the selling should continue/intensify with news permitting. seeya

I don't know when the last time was that you applied for a mortgage, but the loan officer/broker gets to know everything about your financial affairs....if market playing was an issue, I believe I would have seen it in the files I have handled. I am not trying to convince anyone of anything....far be it from me to attempt to change people's prejudices....I am just saying that as a professional in the field, I've never seen it....I don't know how anyone else processes data, but I have found that my own biases tend to weaken my abilities to trade objectively.
