Don't count those eggs before they hatch - and take some profit when you have some!

As far as the Quebec property
<< Marum has performed a satellite-image analysis of the Twin Gold discovery area and has applied for an adjacent area that contains features similar to those associated with the Twin Gold kimberlites.>>

In plain English this means that they based their selection on the view from space for picking the property -which means they grabbed what they could as close to the existing finds -because you can't see anything from space other than the topography. They could have used a contour map but that doesn't sound as impressive - keep that BS meter turned on -I had thought that they had cleaned up their act a bit-but maybe I was wrong. JP

Notes on our new diamond project in Quebec

We are always on the lookout for exceptional projects that can benefit our
shareholders. We began following work initiated by Twin Gold Corporation in
the Torngat Mountains of Ungava, ordered some specialized satellite imagery
and developed a play based on structural control similarities. We applied for
a specific target area in late-September and were waiting for news that our
permit application had been granted. This morning the Alberta Stock Exchange
noted the Company's price and volume activity in the wake of our news
releases last week and asked us to issue a disclosure news release, including
projects that might be announced in the near future. Earlier, we had informed
the Exchange about our Quebec permit application on a confidential basis and
they requested that we mention it. We were reluctant to do so because we had
not received notice that our application was successful but good timing
prevailed and when we called the mining titles office in Quebec City we were
informed that a 57 square kilometre exploration permit had been approved.
This permit block, at 57 square kilometres contains 57,000 hectares or
approximately 141,000 acres.

We have a copy of the Twin Gold Corporation news release on our website and
will attempt to upload some descriptive material in the next few days.

Here is the news release we issued this morning

October 12, 1999 -- Due the recent share price and volume activity, The
Alberta Stock Exchange today requested that the Company summarize its current
activities.

The Company's main exploration project is the Chinchaga diamond and gold
project in northern Alberta. Marum issued its most recent project news
release on October 7th, 1999. Marum anticipates receiving the results of
confirmation gold analyses within the next few days and intends to send a
helicopter-supported sampling team into the Chinchaga area this week in order
to collect large samples for bulk gold extraction tests.

On September 28, 1999, Marum submitted an application for an exploration
permit adjacent to Twin Gold Corporation's ("TWG" -TSE) new diamond discovery
on Alluviat Fjord in the Ungava region of Quebec. Marum has performed a
satellite-image analysis of the Twin Gold discovery area and has applied for
an adjacent area that contains features similar to those associated with the
Twin Gold kimberlites. Pursuant to the Exchange's request, Marum contacted
the Quebec Ministry of Natural Resources and has been informally advised by
telephone that it had been awarded a 57 square kilometre, 5-year exploration
permit adjacent to permits held by Twin Gold.
