OK, I am posting after buying some shares.
Can anyone speculate whether this is a good takeover target for the bigger players. That is one reason i bought.
I asked myself----why would a company preannounce good earnings when it still reports a number close to breakeven?
Answer was simple---inflate the stock price so that it could get a better price for the company if there are potential acquirers. Of course, they would still ask for a premium over the market price. Might as well have a higher price to begin such talks.
Anyone have input?

There could be another reason for preannouncing---the number could still be 2 to 4 cents above the preannounced expectations. Gets more media attention as well.
