The Clerk,
Welcome,I see you are new to SI or at least have a new membership. Have you read the Bible about Jesus with an open mind and with a desire to see the truth or did you read it to disprove it? Hopefully your opinion is based on fact from reading and not on hearsay.
Nancy

well... that's an inflammatory statement to make on a Jesus thread. But let's consider the idea. OK. He was just a man. Just a man who was able to recite scripture at age 5. Just a man who was charismatic enough to found a 2000 year old religion. Just a man whom some said came back from the dead - were they all loonies? Well that would follow if they followed one, right? But I digress. You look any account of his life, whether it be actual Bible or miscellaneous other teachings (ever read the Hyram Key?) and you still see that he did perform miracles in his lifetime. So was he just a good doctor? Just a common man? I guess he might have been. But the accountable evidence points to the idea that he was not.

TC--when one makes such stupid remarks, as you just have, it is customary to indicate that these are your opinions. Then you wouldn't look so foolish or arrogant as to think anyone would regard such statements as indisputable facts. TD
