It took me years to get used to Brown and its quirks. You usually get lousy market executions, and I do most as limit orders. Forget about knowing what you did the first 20 minutes after the market opens. They do not update the execution screen until then. And trading IPOs is a laugh. You have to CALL in and give an associate your order on the first day of the IPO. Same with selling an IPO on the first day. Of course, it takes forever to get through and then you see your shares lose point after point after point. Totally archaic. If you need instantaneous anything, I like MBTrading. Great folks. Great help. They even have their own mIRC board for during the day immediate help. Hope this helped.
