overall, look pretty good from the perspective of many people who have spent huge amounts of time and money working on the problem.

I wonder what percent of the Y2K expenditures was used to upgrade computers and systems which had no Y2K "problems", but were upgraded because Y2K money was easily justified.

"If you give a 2 year old a hammer, everything becomes a nail. If you give an IT manager Y2K money, everything becomes a Y2K problem."

Another question:

Who is changing their normal New Years Eve plans this year, to stay near their home because of Y2K fears?
