lower account acquisition costs is key, i think.
since one of the arguments for the shameful downgrades during summer was that account acquisition costs would go sky high.
i think E*TRADE has reached the sweet spot where people are flowing to E*Trade spontaneusly, and fleeing from their traditional robbers, ups, sorry, i meant "brokers"
