Put your maiden Auntie into QQQ, Bill. It's a no brainer.
I can't see how traditional mutual funds survive, with all of
the great passively managed vehicles the amex created:

QQQ (Naz 100 index)
SPY (s&p 500 index)
DIA (DJI index)

I had wonderful results with index funds prior to moving to
active investing. But now I have Q <g>.

LindyBill. The way I see it, Intel is in trouble partially because transmission rates are stuck at 56K. Voice recognition could help them if it is perfected in time. Also, they are pushing toware a 64 bit CPU. Also, they can integrate other chips into their cpu. The point is that there are damn few consumer and business aps that take a 1000mhz 64bit CPU so competiters have caught them. If we had unlimited bandwidth from our homes, then perhaps more consumers would dee the need to buy high end computers. Also if MSFT released WINDOWS Voice Recognition version that could help.

<<( Hell, I just bought one from Office Depot, a celeron with a 17" monitor, a HP 722 Printer, and all the goodies, for a net of $685!)

Lindy; Was that the price without any ISP rebates? I've been helping a friend shop and I'de love that deal.>>

Your right, of coarse, your maiden aunt and I might have a lot in common.

But I'de rather own INTC than GMST or RMBS right now IMHO.

I do like their internet investments, their server farms and outsourceing and other things I can't remember because I just woke up.

It's just that I don't have to make every dollar there is to get and feel this market is overpriced. I'm not talking about Q here but the S&P 500.

But I must admit your style is looking more and more attractive. I can go 100% Q at almost any price and do fine over time no?

Enjoy
