thanks Don. I know this is a difficult topic-- believe me, in academia, it is a VERY difficult topic. I think you've made some constructive comments and, for that, I am appreciative. Now, for the market-- I am sitting here, waiting for the fur to start flying!! When will the downdraft begin??

OT.. Don..I remember a few yrs ago.discussing the comparison of my practice with a black MD in Fla...his patients were 80% white vs mine 80%black...(Im white)..his read on his practice was that the whites felt he had to have had to work extra hard and be very talented to overcome the odds while the blacks avoided him because they felt the MD was handed to him...Im in a predominantly white town..dont know why my mixture is as it is except to feel somehow the blacks are a whole lot smarter in my town...ggg...I agree, racial issues are funny animals...
