Bond is irrelevant. Max-pain is the only thing that runs this market. Just as futures drive the indexes, max pain drives individual equities. The reason is simple- the big boy brokerages write the vast majority of options, and they use the proceeds from those sales to buy and sell the underlying security and move it to whatever price allows them to collect the most time premium cash.

Luc, having broken to fresh lows and the Rydex ratio a long way from oversold levels it could go into freefall...just like in '87.
