Is it not possible that a New Era crash is likely to be different from what we have experienced in the more free-wheeling past? Rather than coming down dramatically to right the imbalances existing in the market is it not conceivable that a rolling adjustment could take place over an extended period of time? Many issues, excepting the index stocks, already have done some adjusting and now the biggies seem to be joining the movement. After waiting for this crash lo these many months, a complete bull cycle has passed many of us by. Are we going to find that a bear cycle will likewise elude our notice while we wait for the big one? Are we ?Waiting for Godot?? There must be many profitable avenues available to one who truly believes that the big Kahuna is a myth. Aside from bets in the put & call arena there must be strategies available to minimize the risks of deploying cash in investments consistent with changing conditions in the underlying market; the gold strategy being one (thank you!).
