What is happening to SCH though, anybody know?

Lizzy, don't know much but some supply/demand analysis Re SCH:

Total outstanding: 812M shares
Float: 498M shares
Institutions: 400M shares
Short interest: VERY LOW, under 8M shares.

Institutions tax-selling is normally concentrated in Oct; so I guess there is little buying support.

lzzie ,,
i really like egrp but you should take a look at amtd they just signed a deal with pcs to offer wireless online investing which imo is potentially huge ,,the only reason that i am not loading up on these stox is because of the long bond at 6.28 and rising commoditiy prices we may see a short term correction in addition the street seems to be dissappointed with earnings,,but on a brighter note have you seen kide up today in this market imagine in a good market !

Michelle,
Don't know what's up with SCH other than general uneasiness with quarter to quarter weakness and downward pressure on commissions as has been reported by the other onliners. First call does show that there have been eight downward revisions of earnings estimates in the last 30 days (mean was .17 30 days ago, and was .15, seven days ago).

The latest figures on insider sales that I have seen were kind of interesting - almost rivaled the king of insider sales, Amazon, for sales in august - over $100,000,000 in SCH insider sales for August at prices between 42 and 44.

Interesting how SCH hit my $30 buy target so quick, but I still haven't pulled the trigger yet. I'm not sure now whether I will do anything today. Yahoo says SCH will report today, while I saw an Oct. 20th date somewhere else. I haven't been able to find a date on SCH's site.

Good luck,
Jerry
