More and more, especially since the early 90's, India's continued existence depends on a compulsive obsession with Pakistan.

That may distract people's attention for a decade or two at the most, but not for long.

I am not inclined to call Nehru and Jinnah as Anglophiles. They were neither Indian nor British, Neither here (in India) nor there (UK) Both of them learnt all wrong things from the British, & lost their Indianness in their attempt to ape the British.


There is a phrase in hindi to describe the above.

'Dhobi ka kutta, na ghar ka na ghaat ka'.

But we dont need to dig the graves to find them. We have our own resident kutta right here.
