LOL, PW! Best post I've seen here in a while!

These type of images have been known to cause epileptic seizures in baboons.

Are you calling me a baboon? No need to get insulting.

I get really pissed-off about rapid, flashing, images, and especially those where unusual camera angles are used as a substitute for creativity by some weak minded director

I think this is how commercial producers weed out those of us over 40. You gave yourself away, m'lady. <g>

Good post.

The music could not possibly be more annoying even by intention. I wonder if any TV production type has ever considered using bits of quality works such as The Brandenburg Concerto as bumper music. The goal seems to be to create maximum noise, visual as well as aural.

I could also do without many of the descriptive words used by reporters. The market had a dramatic sell off today! Intel missed its number by a wide margin! Intel just barely missed its number! A HUGE decline or rebound! Just give me the numbers and I'll decide what weight to attach to them.

PW,
Did you hear that "clown" (can't remember his name right now) yesterday, who proudly proclaimed that good stocks are ALWAYS expensive?!? Do these brain-dead idiots they interview over at "CNBS" ever look at stock charts???
Do they ever notice the vast fluctuation in "good stock" prices?
The new "Stuart commercial" is a loser in my opinion.
Did anyone notice that the "father" in that commercial is the former host of an old game show from the early 1980's?
