TR,
Hi!!

RE: Yes and it kind of sends a chill up a person's spine...

The critical fact here is the historical significance... Michael Dell has predicted quite a few items of interest over the years...And, as you have noted...He's very conservative...One area that he talks about is the service..Currently only $2B..Some interesting predictions by IDC make this an area of explosive growth...Yet,not too many folks are talking about this...Why? It's gonna be new to many businesses...Using the internet to your advantage is something all will sooner or later have to become proficient with....Which leads us to who will deliver this information and for what price? What corporations are currently adept at selling this information? And, if they are.. what corporation has the ability to get it right the first time?
Let's just remember that this B2B alone is expected to be a $1.4 Trillion industry by 2004...I wonder which company has the "proven" methods of dealing with all aspects of the internet over the last 15 years? :o) I wonder what company wouldnt "drool" at what DELL can do for them...I understand that DELLCONNECT was performed before well over 1000 corporate heads that had their mouths dripping with the thoughts of the savings..."they are literally stunned at what we will be doing in the near future"...And, yet DELL has been stealing high end service from others for sometime now...quietly but it has been occurring...Something that you will not see calculated separately...but, it will show up in the ASP...it is being factored in...the same as the Data Storage Units that surely have a higher margin than a normal "unit"... :o) DELL is not about to let anyone know the Enterprise contracts they are gaining...Michael's quote from the Gartner Group concerning service makes me see a spiral of DELL's revenue growth...for every business must virtually be a part of the internet or else they will be out of business...one can't find a company that wouldn't wish to have the records and methods that DELL has been keeping over all those years...Another $10billion ...No way Michael...Tom, you're right on...Once again he's being conservative!

BUY DELL

Best, Kemble
