ATI TECHNOLOGIES INC - Packed Solo 2150 Notebook PCs Toronto, Ontario, Oct. 19, 1999 (Market News Publishing via COMTEX) -- ATI Technologies Inc. announced that Gateway has chosen the ATI RAGE Mobility(TM)-M mobile graphics accelerator for the new Solo 2150 line of price/performance leading notebook PCs. The selection by Gateway of the RAGE Mobility-M furthers ATI's rise to the top of the mobile graphics market worldwide as ATI's mobile RAGE technology and the RAGE Mobility chip can now be found in systems of nine of the top 10 notebook OEMs. The sister mobile chip to the Mobilty-M, ATI's Mobility-P, can be found in Gateway's high performance Solo 9300 notebook computer. The ATI RAGE Mobility-M chip, along with 4MB of memory, will deliver brilliant 3D, industry-leading 2D and best-of-class video acceleration to the Solo 2150CS, which features an Intel(R) 400MHz Celeron(TM) processor and 32MB of expandable SDRAM memory. The Solo 2150CL, with a 400MHz Celeron processor and 64MB of memory will also feature the RAGE Mobility-M with 4MB of local memory.
