Non-Intel 800/133 MHz CUmine benchs, and some more-or-less comparable Athlon benches, for those interested. If you have trouble using these links, go to Ace's page for the first and third, and firingsquad.com for the kyro review. I picked these Athlon reviews to find the same benchs. Many unknowns or uncontrolleds. Nitpickers help yourselves.

CUmine 700 overclocked to 800/133 on bx board
hardocp.com

Athlon 800 on 100 board (supercooled, no board overclock)
firingsquad.comhardware

Athlon 600s overclocked to 810/125, 830/127.6, 850/130.7

To the extent that a bottom line can be factored out of this, I would say that a 733/i820/RDRAM CUmine is going to be even or ahead of a 700/133 Athlon in many benchs, although there are a few that show a clear Athlon lead. One real wildcard in the CUMine review is the unknown video card, which could have some effect on some benchs.

If I have time later I will post a table of the numbers.

I think AMD better concentrate on getting some better chipsets into the market unless they can maintain a clear megahertz lead.
