You wrote on a couple of occasions that you were looking for a good entry point. The fact is that the stock you bought at 13, you sold for short term capital gains, which means that you effective "break even entry point" really is 36. But it will never hit that point for the forseeable future.

I clearly read your post, and my point makes perfect sense:
That it made no sense to sell a stock short term at 44, and then turn around and look for a reentry point, when all you had to do was hold on to the stock for another few months and you would have paid long-term capital gains.

I don't recall saying that 52 was a great entry point, but I stay by my opinion that today would have an excellent entry point.
