I remember my parents always explaining the "hardships" that they lived with, and that helped to temper their perception of, and respect for, freedom. A decade ago my father started to rant every now and then about the decisions that were being made in government ... the "voters" not realizing what they were asking for. I think it was Buckley who talked about "living in a zoo, or a jungle" ... a zoo might look very comfortable, until you want your freedom. A jungle might seem a scary place that needs some controls ... until you recognize the freedom that exists! Scott C. Lemon
