All of the chip stocks I follow (AHAA, LSI, etc.) are down. I assume its due to INTC pulling down the whole sector.

The Japanese article was out on Saturday so I doubt that has anything to do with CUBE. The motherboard issue was out two weeks ago.

The major fabs indicated they'd be back to full capacity in around two weeks. That seems soon considering the damage reports on the island (but they know their business better than I). The infrastructure of the FABs may not have been moderately impacted but other areas of the island were. Just messes up the logistics of parts, supplies, etc and shipping parts.

I'm neutral in CUBE (no position) but will wait for the dust to settle with earnings and fwd guidance and the overall market risk before I reenter. CUBE will go lower with the market. It was in trouble two weeks ago before some analysts pumped the stock. Long term were in agreement its a great investment but the next 2 to 4 weeks could be tough).

Software is a safer sector to be in at the momment. You may want to look @ THQI on a pullback or even MSFT. Both are getting ready to break out and the break should be to the upside (I'm long both).
