As far as the facts I agree with you in some ways about being
careful that gold stocks don't get struck down with the market.
I think however that that will not happen until Alan G tells
us exactly what he is going to do about curbing inflation
and slowing the economy as well as y2k plans
.

And, fortunately for gold stocks that is unlikely to happen
any time soon and so I think that there is room for expansion.
You saw the spike in XAU the last minutes.

Other other hand, no one can sling nonsense as well as
Ol'49er. You read and read and read...and when your done
you think, "what the heck was that all about"
...then you come to the realization that there was
some kind of attention grabbing self promotion in there.... <G>
Yes...I agree, bull market has been gone for a
while now, the techstocks and some nifty stocks have just
masked it.
Careful though, gold stocks can get sucked down
in a crash.
