William -- fear is not my problem. Guilt is my problem. I get people calling me -- relatives mainly -- they believe they 'must' be in the market -- even though most of them avoided it for most of their lives. I tell them to be careful, be patient, buy a 1,000 shares of this stock or that stock -- and they say 1,000, why not 2,000 or 3,000? And I am thinking, these are people who know nothing about investing, and even less about managing risk. This is the market we are in -- the dangerous kind where people buy high and sell low. The kind that can drop 22% in an hour, and then forget to bounce back. The kind that can take a net stock and turn it into wall paper. But then, you know the risks.
