Barbie camera was out for last Christmas.

I almost bought one as a gift, but decided to pass on it - I was afraid the software end of it might be too complicated (for me). There's also a CMOS camera cartridge for Nintendo's Game Boy. It stores up to 30 black & white shots in a digital photo album. You can then personalize the game by adding your "game face" to a character and stuff like that. That was perhaps the first toy digital camera on the market.

The main problem I see is that toys and games will be even more of a high volume / low price situation than the camcorders. These items are priced in the $50-100 range, retail. What is cost of goods, less than half that? And only a portion, say 10%, goes towards the display. Kopin might have to produce these displays for less than $5 to make a profit!
