I recall using about half the kitchen in a mock archaeological dig in the back yard; I must have been about 12. Some parental displeasure resulted.

I think my husband has taken some of my spoons to work- and thrown them away- or perhaps he has a mistress who has a fetish for teaspoons. Whatever the reason- I am missing mine. I will guard my new ones fiercely - no one is going anywhere with them. We eat only in our kitchen- btw. It is the RULE. Since we got new carpeting we don't even eat pop corn with movies anymore. Water is allowed- in a sippy cup. Otherwise nada, zilch, nothing, rien (rien- gosh I hope I am remembering that right- it looks wrong now, but I'm sure that is nothing in French. You know "away" looked wrong to me yesterday- I KNEW it was right but it looked wrong)

I hope you have a wonderful time with your friend. I have seen a couple of my friends this week and have had a very pleasant time with them. It has reminded me that 3d friends are NICE too.

Right now my son is pretendig to be Captain Underpants- no kidding- there is a book. He is wearing jockey shorts on his head (clean thank God- I actually checked) and talking like a robot.

I should go now and do some more housework. BTW- Molly has been good ALL week and she told me she doesn't need me in class anymore. We shall see if she continues in this new path- but so far this week the teacher tells me she has been an angel (normally I would have a problem with such "labeling", and I would say well she might be acting angelic but do we need to label her? but in this case I'm not going to fuss). I continue to do all the little chores I can for the teacher anyway- my small attempt to bribe her into liking my daughter.
