There is no reason to worry about Q! unless you are short (yikes!) or too deep in margin:

- MOT just raised their Q4 forecast citing strong wireless
- lots of excellent CDMA news
- many contenders for handset division (no rush to sell)

Bottom line: $250 by November 2nd!!!

"but it cannot hurt, and after today, I will take even some deceptively good news"

>> Frank, you sound surprisingly mature and avuncular

There you go again, using big words, nephew.

Orthaganol indeed.

Now I have to find my readers and the dictionary before
I can reply.

avunclar???

uf

btw, I sound mature because I'm OLD. My inner child died
in 1979.

ADDENDUM: Thanks, JW. It's a nice word <g>.

OT - Political Thoughts:

Pat Buchanan today will officially announce leaving the Republican Party for the Reform Party. If the Reform party endorses him, he should capture some double digit election returns. This will hurt George W. Bush. Gore is in trouble - Bradley's star is rising quickly.

Bottom line: Buchanan can't win. Wall Street will accept either Bush or Gore. I'm not so sure Wall Street is thrilled over Bradley because of his very liberal policies. I'm not so sure Wall Street is looking over its shoulder at next year's election as of yet, but if Bradley wins, I believe it may be a negative factor long-term for the market. JMHO.
