Thread: I think we are sitting in a " gold investment paralysis scenario " right now .MOST investors are just " watching " gold . They do not want to buy it because doing so would admit defeat and a collapse of the rockin' 100+ Price Earnings stock market investment philosophy of the past 8 years and a giant sucking sound will arise in the tub as these stocks swirl down a hole of more realistic valuations. With it go similar giant pension market valuations of the nifty fifty stocks, placing every grandpa and grandma plus Baby Boomer in angst.. So I think gold and the POG may hang around at these prices a few more days again. I think that people want to make mighty sure that this Bull run has, at least for now, No Blood Pressure, No Pulse and No Respirations the medical definition of death . When that happens, I think it is quite possible that everybody will grab into gold stocks at the same time. Now think for a minute: These stocks do not have a very large float to begin with. So you can imagine what will happen when everybody leaves stocks trading with average daily volumes of 10 - 20 mill $ per day, into gold stocks! Can you now imagine a stock called Gold.com coming out as an IPO, valued conservatively at ~$ 25/share ( I picked a ball park gold stocks average price out of my hat ). This company has a product under ground ( currently available in limited quantities because the owners aren't ready to sell yet in large amounts ). This product however will soon be in demand by just about everybody around the globe. Sort of something like Gillette shaving blades. Can you see $10/day trading price swings? Can you imagine a stock like NEM for example, trading at the totally ridiculous price of $100- $150?share as Alan Abelson will tell you every Saturday? ( BTW, as soon as Alan says that I am out; just letting everybody know where I stand in this: again, $150/share = I am out ). I know that this late in the day and darkness it is somewhat hard to see, but try anyway, TA@trying to see in the dark.com
