Read the article on Barrick's 9 month earnings. What in hell is a "Premium Gold Sales Program"? Sounds like a TV ad for the Popeel Pocket Fisherman Package. Can anyone explain how Barrick can sell gold at the spot price OR the hedged price, WHICHEVER IS HIGHER? Wow, that PR release sounds like part information, part snake oil; unless they're buying puts, in which case you'll never know how much the $385-$400+ puts are costing them. Sheesh, talk about hype and disinformation, that PR had it all.
