<<You allow yourselves to get too sucked in, too involved, too wired, too hyped, all those negative vibes zapping you relentlessly all day long from deep inside your computer, so that by late in the evening your brains are all frizzled and frazzled, your clenched teeth have been ground down to the bone, your hair is standing on end as if you had just been electrocuted, and you are going cross-eyed from staring into the monitor, doing virtual battle with ghosts who disappear when you try to touch them, while there in the background, ignored, someone, a real solid 3-D person, is saying, tentatively, "John (or Mary, or Sue, or Bill)? Uhh...can you hear me?....Uhmm...are you coming to bed? Ever again? John?">>

LOLOL!!

Wow, thank you for sharing that. I can really relate. I knew I was powerless over the computer when I felt myself being physically removed from my chair one night. The detox period was rough, but we handle it a day at a time now.

Perhaps a new subject would help. Like the Senate's rejection of the nuclear test ban treaty, see:

dailynews.yahoo.com

I'm not sure I understand the logic here. Doesn't a ban on testing mainly benefit whoever has the most advanced arsenal? And isn't that us?

Or is there something I'm not seeing - I haven't read the treaty, only partisan opinions on both sides.
