OT Hi John,

I agree. It's not efficient, which can make it confusing.

A simple chart would have been better:

Product --- Upgrade Required?
Win98 --- No
Win95 --- No
etc.

Apparently the following analyzer will tell you if anything needs upgrading (but you have to download it):

John, Symantec has a free BIOS test and fix. I've used it and it's easy and fast.

John, I think MSFT has sent me three unsolicited Y2000 CDs. I hope not to find out why all the duplicate preparation is happening.
