Skeet, Interesting you should share that thought. While I was in my broker's office at noon, it was filled with people... BUYING STOCKS! Lotsa money still out there, don't forget. They are just dumping into the markets. Another guy at work who had gotten out at 11,300 when I suggested the market was overvalued bought back in on his own accord! Lotsa money still going into the markets... for every sell there is a buy. The last point, which addresses your point about the long winter, is that people have learned to LOVE crashes... and there is a ton of money on the sidelines (I have been feeding my money-markets for months now).
