A stock pickers market is all one can hope for.
Hasn't this already been a stock-picker's market since April?

good points about leadership in market and commodities

crude oil got its ummmph reduced last week with $4/bbl drop
cannot understand rise in Treasuries right now
concerned about a run to 6.5% which would confound technicals
I think the unwinding of Asian effect is about done

higher costs will translate into lower profits, not higher prices
supply side US economy is growing at awesome rate
nobody is stopping suppliers from increasing supplies
but inventory levels are getting low in some areas
yet inventory levels had been rising in anticipation of Y2K

who knows?
